Training games

This book consists of two parts. The first contains short training games that illustrate the main idea of the gambit. This part can be used for analysis with a further game of "guess the move." The second part consists of practical games, the analysis of which will not only help in mastering the main ideas of the gambit, but will also bring great aesthetic pleasure.

The Stafford Gambit is one of the popular aggressive chess gambits. The key attack field here is the point f2.In accordance with this, black places his pieces on the squares Bc5, Ng4, Qh4. When played correctly, the gambit is not dangerous. However, White needs accuracy and knowledge of the main opening traps in order to avoid a quick defeat.
